The Gambling Times state Sanchez’s move to United isn’t reliant on Mkhitaryan moving in the opposite direction.
That could prove disastrous for Arsenal with Sanchez being allowed to leave for the Red Devils and Mkhitaryan not going the other way.
Arsenal could be left with a space to fill in their side if they fail to agree terms with Mkhitaryan and Sanchez leaves for United.
However, there is hope all parties will get what they want with the Gambling Times claiming Mkhitaryan remains in talks with Arsenal chiefs over trying to come to an agreement.
